Tilting and rotating the map within WPF holding the CTRL key

Mar 22, 2010 at 5:50 AM

Hi,

I have been playing around with your control and I've noticed that if you hold down the CTRL key while viewing the map, only immediate mouse interations are taken into account. For example, if I left-click the mouse button, while holding the CTRL key and quick move the mouse, the perspective of the map changes however it then stops working.

Do you know if this is a bug?

Regards,

Eric

I'm not sure about the CTRL thing, but when you're using the mouse there are some "special" areas of the screen. If you click and drag near the top and near the sides the map can change rotation or perspective. This is a feature from the mouse input processor inside the Bing Maps 3D control. You can see the same behavior in the web version.

Hi,

I had the same problem but only on one of my PCs. On the other PCs the mouse navigation with ctrl is working.
Sorry but I also have no solution for this.
